Community Wellness and Transportation

As of September 30, 2024, MANA’s Transportation has ended. Due to our current financial capacity, we will only be able to provide a very limited number of rides each day for non-emergency medical and immigration appointments (Maine offices.) For medical rides, priority will be given to people who are already in our system and on a first-come-first-serve basis. We will keep you informed of any other changes. Thank you for your understanding.

We Provide More Than Just A Ride

Our transportation program is community-driven, care-centered, trauma-informed and multilingual:

  • Community-driven means we respond to the ever changing transportation basic needs of the community (non emergency medical, social services, food access and immigration) in urban, sub-urban and rural areas. We also try to bridge other transportation gaps that include: School transportation for unhoused students on a daily basis or to special wellness programs, English classes and workforce development. Our Transportation is also paired with health and wellness education.

  • Care-centered means our staff are immigrants, have lived experience and are trained in Trauma Informed Care.

  • Multilingual means our staff speak more than 10 languages.
